#NewYearsEve is upon us! With the 2019 year coming to a close, and with it the decade, it’s the perfect time to spend a few minutes in reflection.
For me personally, the past year has been a big one! Not only did I graduate with my second Master’s degree, but we also welcomed our third baby boy. The past decade has been an even more exciting one with getting married, having our boys, two Master’s degrees, taking the plunge to publish a book again, and so much more.
But, with all the ups there have also been some downs. Though it ended well, the past decade also saw our first son going through brain surgery when he was only a little baby of 10 months old. It was absolutely one of the hardest moments of my life, and I had three boys via c-section!
Of course, it involved other obstacles and heartbreaks, which have been used as an opportunity for growth or moments to dwell over. No matter what, the culmination of the past decade has brought me to where I am now. A proud mama of three, a wife to a great husband, and an author working on her next novel with that much more passion.
So, as you take the time to remember the past years and all your experiences, remember to be thankful for the good as well as the bad. Use the bad as an opportunity to grow in the next decade; as a way to improve on what is already there. Remember, that as you look back, you have to look to the future as well.
In the spirit of the season, I am going to keep this one short. Give you back a couple of minutes in this remaining year to look forward to the future. Make 2020 a year of success in every aspect of your life. Remember to love and grow as you go on to the next year and decade.
Happy New Year to you and your family!
